Paul is boldly sharing his conversion story to an angry crowd primed to kill him (Acts 22).

He tells the crowd that his first question during his encounter with Jesus on that Damascus road is, “Who are you, Master?”

The second question is, “What do I do now, Master?”

Paul has seen glory and he knows it demands action.

When you find out who Jesus is, get to know him every day. You have been pardoned and forgiven. Are you pressing into Jesus? Do you know Jesus’ power, greatness, kindness and Lordship?

What do we do now? That should be an instinctual question. We exchange empty tradition for intimacy. We work today in his vineyard. We trade our wills for God’s. We exchange stinginess for generosity.

Most of all, you get moving. God positioned you in your neighborhood, workplace or school with purpose. Now, action!

Get moving one step of obedience at a time. That’s what Apostle Paul did. And all of history was changed.

If you go to Jesus and ask him what to do...if you ask him earnestly and seek his face...he will answer. Ask him.

“What do I do now, Master?”

Adapted from the sermon “What Do I Do Now?” by Santosh Abraham (April 8, 2018).
