Two disciples were discussing the empty tomb where Jesus was buried while traveling from Jerusalem to Emmaus.

Soon, another traveler joined them. However, neither of the disciples recognized Him nor did the traveler reveal His identity to them (Luke 24:13-35).

As they reached at Emmaus, they invited their fellow-traveler to join them and stay the night, then proceed on His journey the next morning. When they sat for dinner, He took the bread, gave thanks, broke it and began to give it to them. Immediately, their eyes were opened and they recognized Him, but He disappeared from their sight.

Dear friend, how many people do we bypass daily in our workplace, schools, shopping centers, exercise arena, or on the streets in our neighborhood?

Do we pray for them? Do we identify ourselves as the followers of Christ? Do we introduce Christ to them? If not, it's time to do so.

Pray that they might recognize Jesus and follow Him.
